New Parents

At Happy Stars, we care for children between the ages of 1 year to 5+ years, we aim to provide a nurturing environment, where your child can develop his or her aptitudes and abilities to their full potential, this can only happen if your child is in an environment that allows them to reach these goals.

Happy Stars nursery is based on the grounds of St Andrew Church, and has been set up and continuously developed to provide a homely environment for your child. Our outstanding Ofsted Inspection report highlighted that the nursery environment was both highly stimulating and enabling, where children enjoy their time, demonstrating that they feel safe and secure. When parents join Happy Stars our main goal is for you and your child to be comfortable, relaxed and parents to go off feeling at peace in the environment they have left their child in. We are committed to providing the best service possible and believe that working alongside parents/carers to make them feel happy and content is the best policy.

Our main entrance intake takes place in the September term, however from time to time places do come available throughout the year, due to children relocating. We will then offer a place to the next child on the waiting list. When offering places, we adhere to an inclusion and equality policy and ensure that all children have access to nursery places and services irrespective of their gender, race, disability, religion or belief or sexual orientation of parents.

We arrange our admission policy in registration order, a registration fee is charged at £50.00 which is non-refundable which would add your child on to our waiting list. When a place becomes available, we then request a deposit in order to secure your place. Deposits are fully refundable provided all T&C have been adhered too. Please see fees instruction for further information - Admission and Fees.

We know how important it is to find the right childcare for your child and that finding the right setting can be challenging. We invite parents/carers to come and have a look at our environment and learn more about how our daily routine will support your child in our environment. Once you have visited our nursery, parents are then given a join us pack, which has all relevant information how your child can be enrolled. Please contact us to arrange a show around.
