Dear parents,
The nursery will be celebrating Harvest Festival
Week beginning 16th October 2017
On Friday the children will be visiting the church to watch St Andrews School, Harvest Celebration and will also be donating some items towards:
St Laurence’s Larder, this service provides fresh food for those who struggle to make ends meet in our community and beyond. It is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 2pm and people can attend without referral from other organisations.
They are provided with a three course meal which is typically soup, followed by a pasta dish or freshly made sandwiches, and then homemade trifle or other desert. For those in desperate need they also run a food bank which provides 2 or 3 days of dried and tinned food to take away.
They also have an emergency clothes bank, which is available during St Laurence’s Larder normal opening hours. St Laurence’s Larder is managed by Stephen Chamberlain who can be contacted on 07958 303737, if you are able to support in any other way.
