Funding & Vouchers

Funding

At Happy Stars we are registered with Brent Council to provide all three and four year olds with a funded three-hour, part-time place. Brent Council will pay for up to five three-hour sessions per week over 38 weeks of the year (this usually divides into funding for three terms, one of 14 weeks and two of 12 weeks).

Childcare Vouchers

Happy Stars accept all types of Childcare, Nursery and Early Years Vouchers. If you are employed and pay for childcare, your employer may be able to help with the costs.

Tax Credits

Most families can claim tax credits. These are usually Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit and childcare element of Working Tax Credit.

The childcare element pays up to 70% of £175 childcare costs for one child, or up to 70% of £300 for two or more children.
